Syria condemns Israeli airstrikes on Abu al-Dhur military airport: unjustified aggression and blatant violation of sovereignty

Syria condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli air raids that targeted Abu al-Dhaher Airbase in Idlib Governorate, deeming them an unjustified aggression and a blatant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a dangerous escalation that threatens security and stability in the region.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement that the continuation of these Israeli attacks since December 8, 2024, until today, while the Syrian state is committed to restraint and working to consolidate stability and avoid escalation, once again reveals Israeli occupation’s attempts to undermine these efforts and drag the region into further tension and instability.
