Traffic Department: 64 reports issued against vehicle rental offices violating regulations in Al-Aradiyah Industrial Area

- Issuance of 59 traffic violations and arrest of wanted individuals and two vehicles for judicial impoundment

The General Directorate of Traffic conducted a traffic and supervisory campaign targeting vehicle rental offices in the Ardiyah Industrial Area, as part of its ongoing efforts to curb violations and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations governing the vehicle rental business.

In a statement today, the Directorate of Traffic said the campaign, carried out on Saturday under the supervision of the Director General of the General Directorate of Traffic, Brigadier General Rashid Hamoud Al-Hajeri, and with the participation of the Coordination, Follow-up, Training, and Land Transport departments, targeted vehicle rental offices and monitored violating vehicles.

It added that the campaign resulted in the issuance of 64 official reports against offices that violated the regulations, leading to their administrative impoundment, alongside the issuance of 59 traffic violations.

It noted the arrest and handover of two wanted individuals pending arrest and appearance warrants, as well as the seizure and transfer of two vehicles wanted for judicial impoundment to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal actions.

The General Directorate of Traffic emphasized the continuation of its traffic and supervisory campaigns across various areas, calling on everyone to comply with the laws, regulations, and stipulations governing the sector.
