Kuwait Communications Authority Warns iPhone Users: Phishing Messages Target Your Data

The Public Authority for Communications and Information Technology (PACTI) has warned iPhone users about fraudulent messages circulating via the iMessage service, which impersonate shipping and delivery companies and demand updates to shipment details or payment of fees through suspicious links.

In a notice posted on its X (formerly Twitter) account, the authority urged users to avoid clicking on such links or sharing any personal or financial information, and to verify the status of their shipments exclusively through the company’s official website or app. It also advised deleting the messages and reporting them as spam.
