The Sabah Al-Nasser Bridge project has entered its final stages after a work suspension of approximately 12 years, with the Ministry of Public Works continuing execution at an accelerated pace and opening a section of the bridge to traffic, as part of its efforts to complete vital projects and enhance the efficiency of the road network.
Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Musha’an inspected the project today to review the final stages of completion and monitor the progress of construction works, coinciding with the opening of a section of the bridge for traffic coming from Salwa toward the Sixth Ring Road and heading to Road 604 “Kabd,” alongside the opening of the exit for traffic coming from Jahra toward the Sixth Ring Road and heading to Road 604 “Kabd,” in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic.

The resumption of work on the project follows a suspension that lasted approximately 12 years, as the Ministry intensified its efforts to complete the remaining works and push the project toward completion, in line with its plans to accelerate the implementation of vital projects.
The progress in the works resulted from intensified field supervision by Minister Al-Musha’an and the Ministry’s teams, along with her directives to accelerate the pace of execution and complete the necessary requirements, leading to the final stages of the project.

The Sabah Al-Nasser Bridge is considered a vital project that, upon completion, will contribute to improving traffic flow on the Sixth Ring Road and Road 604 “Kabd,” enhancing the efficiency of the road network, and serving the residents of the area, thereby reducing traffic pressure and improving mobility in the region.
