First Deputy Speaker: Prioritizing the health of Ministry of Interior personnel and providing an integrated work environment

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, inaugurated today, Monday, the Emergency Medical Clinic in the Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Building at the Ministry of Interior, as part of the cooperation and integration between the Ministries of Interior and Health to enhance healthcare services provided to Ministry personnel.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior said the inauguration was attended by the Ministry’s Undersecretary, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, and the Ministry of Health Undersecretary, Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Abdullah Al-Sabah, along with a number of leaders and officials from both ministries.

The statement added that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef inspected the clinic’s facilities and departments, and listened to a detailed explanation regarding the operational mechanisms and medical services provided to Ministry of Interior personnel, both military and civilian.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health and its continuous cooperation, emphasizing the importance of continuing joint work between the two ministries to elevate the level of healthcare provided to Ministry of Interior personnel and facilitate their access to emergency medical services.

He noted that caring for the health of Ministry personnel and providing a comprehensive working environment are among the priorities, given the positive impact this has on enhancing their efficiency and strengthening their performance in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

For his part, Sheikh Dr. Salman Al-Sabah said, according to the statement, that the clinic represents an addition to the healthcare service system provided to Ministry of Interior personnel, reaffirming the Ministry of Health’s commitment to facilitating their access to medical care and enhancing the quality of services provided to them.

The new clinic provides healthcare services to Ministry of Interior personnel, both military and civilian, within the Ministry’s headquarters, contributing to faster access to these services in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
