Two drones target the office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the residence of the head of the Peshmerga Protection Agency

The Counter-Terrorism Agency of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced on Monday that the office of Regional Prime Minister Masrour Barzani in Erbil was targeted by two explosive-laden drones, with no casualties reported.

The agency stated in a press release that two Houdoud-110 type explosive drones were launched from the Iranian side of the border in the morning, heading toward the private office of the Kurdistan Region Prime Minister and the residence of the head of the region’s security apparatus (Barastin) in Piramagrun district, Erbil province.

It added that the attacks resulted in no casualties.

The agency strongly condemned the attacks, describing them as unacceptable in any form, and placed full responsibility for the consequences on those responsible for carrying them out.
