This came in a joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Jordan, Indonesia, and Pakistan, and disseminated by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the statement, the foreign ministers affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s rejection constitutes a direct rejection of the comprehensive plan endorsed by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, threatening its implementation and undermining collective efforts to achieve peace in Gaza and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories.
The ministers emphasized that the Israeli occupation now bears responsibility for obstructing efforts to bring peace to Gaza and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories.
They also clarified that the roadmap, which Palestinian factions accepted after intensive efforts by intermediary parties and the United States, represents a crucial milestone in implementing the comprehensive plan. This includes securing weapons, coinciding with the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, the deployment of an international stabilization force, the transfer of administrative authority to the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, and the reconstruction of the Strip.
They warned that rejecting the roadmap threatens to derail the intensive efforts undertaken by President Trump to end the war in Gaza and create the necessary conditions for a lasting peace.
They further stressed the importance of continued active US engagement to ensure and compel the Israeli occupation to fully comply with the commitments and arrangements stipulated in the comprehensive plan and its accompanying roadmap, and to prevent any further obstruction to their implementation.
The ministers also affirmed that the Israeli occupation bears direct and full responsibility for any consequences resulting from its continued rejection, obstruction, delay, or non-compliance, including any deterioration in the situation on the ground and any disruption to efforts aimed at ending the war in Gaza.
They reiterated the urgent need for the full and immediate implementation of the comprehensive plan, which would contribute to addressing the dire humanitarian situation and ensuring security and stability for all in Gaza, paving the way for reconstruction and recovery.
The ministers categorically rejected any attempt to deny the establishment of a Palestinian state or to prevent its realization, including through unilateral measures. They affirmed that a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace can only be achieved through the implementation of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The ministers also emphasized the importance of continuing the role played by the Peace Council, calling on all parties to support its efforts to implement the roadmap and to move forward with the second phase of President Trump’s comprehensive plan.
They further called on the Peace Council to take immediate and concrete measures within its mandate, ensuring the preservation of the comprehensive plan and preventing any party from obstructing its implementation.
