Security campaign by 'Al-Najda' results in 1,300 traffic violations and the arrest of dozens of wanted individuals and violators

The General Directorate of Emergency Police carried out a comprehensive security campaign yesterday, Thursday, across various governorates and regions of the country, as part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to enhance security and enforce the authority of the law.

The campaign targeted numerous areas, locations, and main and secondary roads, with the aim of apprehending wanted individuals and violators, documenting offenses, and taking necessary legal action against perpetrators, thereby contributing to the preservation of security and order and enhancing the safety of citizens and residents.

The campaign resulted in the apprehension of 27 individuals for expired residency, 12 individuals without official identification, and the arrest of 33 persons. Additionally, two criminal and civil cases were documented, along with three drug and alcohol cases and one white weapon.

Fifteen wanted vehicles were seized, 1,300 traffic violations were issued, 26 cases of disturbing noise were recorded, 26 vehicles were impounded for traffic violations, and one individual was detained by the Traffic Department.
