The UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressed the UAE’s full solidarity with and support for Kuwait in the measures taken by its security agencies to thwart a terrorist plot targeting a critical facility and to apprehend a citizen who had joined the Daesh terrorist organization.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE’s full support for all measures undertaken by the State of Kuwait to safeguard its security, sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its society. He commended the competence and vigilance of the Kuwaiti security agencies for their success in uncovering this plot linked to Daesh and for taking legal action against its elements.
