Imagine strolling along Al-Wafra Road when suddenly a majestic entrance appears before you in the shape of a colossal date palm, with clusters of dates hanging from its fronds, as if welcoming its visitors. From here begins the journey to the Global Palm Oasis. This project does not merely gather trees; it brings together entire civilizations under the shade of palms.
The choice of location on the main road leading to Al-Wafra is not a coincidence, but a vision. It serves as the gateway to the agricultural region and a crossing point for thousands of visitors, making the project the first thing to greet them. It sends a message that agriculture is an integral part of Kuwait’s identity and future.

Inside the oasis, pathways stretch out, flanked by hundreds of palm varieties imported from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Iraq, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria, as well as from various countries around the world. Each palm bears a plaque introducing visitors to its story, origin, and characteristics, turning the tour into a cultural journey before it becomes an agricultural one.
At the heart of the project beats a global date market, where hundreds of varieties are displayed in one place, alongside date products, traditional crafts, and cafes serving Arabic coffee with the finest dates, allowing visitors to experience an authentic Gulf atmosphere in every detail.
The concept does not stop at tourism; it extends to establishing a research center, a genetic bank for palm varieties, conference halls, and an annual international date festival that attracts producers, experts, and investors from around the world. This transforms Kuwait into an international platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise in this sector.
