'Ministry of Health': International accreditation for the Jaber Center for Diabetic Foot Surgery and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

- More than 520 patients and 10,500 treatment sessions since the center’s opening in 2023

The Ministry of Health announced that the Jaber Diabetic Foot Surgery and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center has received Level Four international accreditation from the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in the United States.

The Ministry clarified in a statement today that more than 520 patients have benefited from the center’s services since its opening in 2023, with over 10,500 hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions conducted for various medical conditions, including complex cases.

It added that the center provides specialized round-the-clock care for emergency and semi-emergency cases, supported by a specialized and qualified medical and nursing team.

The Ministry emphasized that this accreditation reflects the quality and safety of services in accordance with international standards, and underscores the advancement of specialized healthcare services in the State of Kuwait.
