Health Ministry: Establishment of two specialized units for pediatric stem cell transplantation and gene and cell therapy
Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Al-Awadi, Minister of Health, issued a ministerial decision to establish two specialized units for pediatric stem cell transplantation, gene and cell therapy, and advanced treatments at the Kuwait National Hospital for Pediatric Specialties.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health said the decision is part of the expansion of advanced treatments for children, clarifying that the therapeutic services provided by the two units include hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), gene therapy, cell therapy, and advanced treatments.
