Revocation and Loss of Kuwaiti Citizenship for 30 Individuals

Today, Thursday, two decrees and a decision were published in the supplement of the Official Gazette, “Kuwait Today,” revoking and depriving 30 individuals of their Kuwaiti nationality.

Decree No. 128 of 2026 stipulated the revocation of Kuwaiti nationality certificates for five individuals, as well as for those who acquired it through dependency.

Decree No. 129 of 2026 stipulated the revocation of Kuwaiti nationality for one individual, while Decision No. 14/76 of 2026 of the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Nationality stipulated the deprivation of Kuwaiti nationality for 24 individuals, based on Article 11 of Emir Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amendments.
