Trump: I believe we will retain full control of the Strait of Hormuz

-Our naval blockade is a “wall of steel”... and Iran cannot do anything about it

-Tehran lacks effective naval or air forces, and the Revolutionary Guard is exhausted with an unstable leadership

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States has imposed “complete control” over the Strait of Hormuz, expressing his belief that his country will maintain this control and emphasizing that Iran has no means to counter the U.S. naval blockade.

Trump added that the blockade his country has imposed on Iran has come to be described as a “wall of steel,” stating that Tehran is unable to deal with it or change it.

He argued that Iran no longer possesses effective naval or air forces, and that remaining soldiers are not receiving their salaries. He described the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as “exhausted,” noting that its members are fleeing, its leadership is experiencing instability, and its forces have suffered widespread destruction.

He continued that, in his view, Iran has only “fake news,” with an inflation rate reaching 300 percent. He added that the economic situation is deteriorating and that the country is suffering from a severe shortage of funds.

Trump said that Iran’s leadership is living in a state of uncertainty and that the country’s situation is “completely collapsing.” He added that Iran is “all talk and no action” and, in his words, no longer represents the “bully of the Middle East.”
