National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) held a special event at its headquarters to announce the winners of the monthly “Al Jawhara” and “Al Jawhara Junior” draws, attended by several bank executives. The draws were broadcast live via the bank’s social media accounts, underscoring its commitment to the highest standards of transparency and its ongoing engagement with customers.

The event announced 11 new winners under the “Al Jawhara” program, which continues to solidify its position as Kuwait’s largest sweep program of its kind by offering exceptional cash prizes and continuous winning opportunities throughout the year.

The draw results saw NBK customer Jamal Qasim Gharir win the monthly “Al Jawhara” account prize, valued at 125,000 Kuwaiti Dinars. Additionally, three customers won weekly draw prizes of 20,000 Kuwaiti Dinars each.

Furthermore, the monthly “Al Jawhara Junior” draw was conducted, resulting in seven winners: three customers received cash prizes of 1,000 Kuwaiti Dinars each, and four customers received prizes of 500 Kuwaiti Dinars each. This initiative reflects the bank’s dedication to promoting a savings culture among younger generations and encouraging sound financial habits from an early age.

All draws were conducted in the presence and under the supervision and monitoring of representatives from the global audit firms Deloitte and Grant Thornton, reflecting NBK’s firm commitment to applying the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and equal opportunity in all its draws.

Commenting on the occasion, Hisham Al-Nassif, Head of Personal Banking at NBK, said: “Over the years, the ‘Al Jawhara’ program has successfully built a distinctive relationship with customers, thanks to its ability to combine smart savings concepts with exceptional winning opportunities, making it one of the most distinctive and popular bank sweep programs in the Kuwaiti market.”

Al-Nassif added: “We continuously strive to enhance the customer experience associated with the ‘Al Jawhara’ program, not only through large and diverse prizes, but by offering a savings product that provides real value to customers and helps them achieve their financial goals, while maintaining the highest levels of transparency and credibility throughout all stages of the draws.”

He emphasized that the sustained interest in the program reflects customers’ confidence in the services and solutions provided by NBK, noting that “Al Jawhara” continues to play its role in encouraging savings and delivering a comprehensive banking experience that goes beyond the traditional concept of savings accounts.

The “Al Jawhara” account offers customers opportunities to win cash prizes throughout the year, including weekly and monthly draws, as well as the grand prize of one million Kuwaiti Dinars, which is drawn three times annually, along with “Al Jawhara Junior” draw prizes. The total value of the program’s prizes amounts to 5 million Kuwaiti Dinars annually, making it the largest sweep program of its kind in Kuwait.
