US President Donald Trump said that Iranians are “not honest,” expressing his frustration with Tehran’s negotiating style and accusing it of agreeing to terms inside meeting rooms only to reject them later via the media.

Trump stated that Iran’s economy is in a state of chaos, adding that Iran’s inflation rate reaches 300 percent, its currency has lost its value, and the Iranian government is not paying its soldiers’ salaries.

He affirmed that war was necessary to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, saying that Tehran would have obtained nuclear weapons had it not been for the strikes it faced.

Trump emphasized the United States’ ability to deliver very powerful strikes against Iran, adding that Washington fully controls and manages Iran’s funds.

In a separate comment, Trump said that oil prices are now lower than they were during the administration of former President Joe Biden, and he affirmed that the United States is not facing any shortage of missile ammunition.
