188,000 Kuwaiti Dinars for the expansion of the 'Gulf Air' building

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has referred the contract for the expansion project of Terminal 5 (T5) to the Court of Audit, with a total value of 188,025 Kuwaiti dinars, to implement prior oversight procedures, audit the contract, and grant approval if no comments requiring a response from the Authority are identified.

Meanwhile, the Board of Directors of the Central Tenders Committee decided during its meeting held on Monday, August 3, to approve the Authority’s request to extend the bid evaluation period by ten days for the operation, management, and improvement of training, maintenance, and development services for the new passenger terminal (T2), its aprons, and the institutional management of central operations and maintenance under the Kuwait International Airport model.

The Authority’s efforts to complete the tender procedures are part of its preparations to take over and operate the Kuwait International Airport expansion project’s new passenger terminal (T2). This project is being implemented by the Ministry of Public Works on behalf of the Authority, which will take over the terminal from the Ministry immediately upon completion of the three operational and management packages.
