US President Donald Trump stated that the Strait of Hormuz is “now open,” affirming that a large number of ships are crossing the waterway and that the US Navy has full control over it.

Trump added that US forces had cleared mines from the entire Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that the US Navy is the sole force controlling the strait, according to him.

At the same time, he affirmed that the United States still possesses the capability to escalate tensions regarding Iran.

Regarding the compensation file, Trump said that Iran must pay compensation to the families of 52,000 protesters, whom he claimed were killed in the country over the past four months.

He added that if Iran demands compensation for conflict-related damages, it must in turn pay compensation for the damages it allegedly caused the United States over the past 50 years, affirming that Washington will demand payment for those damages.
