'Ministry of Interior': Activation of 'Pre-change Traffic Light Warning' before traffic signal changes

The Ministry of Interior announced via its X account that the General Directorate of Traffic has activated the “pre-change light alert” feature before signal changes, with the aim of enhancing road safety and ensuring smooth traffic flow.

The ministry stated that the feature enables drivers and pedestrians to prepare to move or stop more safely, explaining that the green light alert warns drivers to gradually prepare to stop safely, while the red light alert warns them to prepare to proceed safely.
