'Traffic': 117 vehicles seized and 4,400 violations issued

The General Directorate of Traffic continued its field campaigns in various governorates, resulting in the impoundment of 117 vehicles and the issuance of approximately 4,400 diverse traffic violations yesterday.
A security source clarified that the campaigns targeted the enforcement of traffic violations and behaviors that threaten the safety of road users, including the use of mobile phones while driving, exceeding the speed limit, tinting vehicle windows, failure to wear seat belts, as well as violations related to trucks.
The source confirmed that traffic campaigns will continue across all governorates to apprehend violators and enforce traffic laws.
