The eighth cohort witnesses, for the first time, the graduation of female police officers to work in the field of investigations
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, attended the graduation ceremony of the eighth cohort of investigators from the General Administration of Investigations, comprising 486 graduates, and administered the legal oath to them.
The ceremony was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wahab; the Director General of the General Administration of Investigations, Major General and Legal Expert Dr. Faisal Khaled Al-Mukarrad; the Deputy Director General for Investigation Departments Affairs, Reem Al-Mousa; and the Deputy Director General for Technical Office and Disciplinary Council Affairs, Bassam Al-Mashouh.

In a directive address to the graduates, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef emphasized that investigative work is a national responsibility and a trust that requires integrity, impartiality, and strict adherence to applying the law with fairness and objectivity, thereby ensuring the revelation of truth, protection of rights, and achievement of justice.
He stressed that Kuwait places its trust in its graduate sons and daughters, urging them to live up to this trust and responsibility, to make justice and the law the foundation of their duties, and to apply the provisions of the law to everyone without exception, making no distinction between the powerful and the ordinary, or between those in positions of authority and others.
For his part, the Director General of the General Administration of Investigations, Major General and Legal Expert Dr. Faisal Khaled Al-Mukarrad, in a speech on the occasion, highlighted the important role played by investigators within the justice system and law enforcement framework, and the responsibility resting on their shoulders to perform their duties with utmost honesty and integrity.
Subsequently, the graduates of the eighth cohort administered the legal oath before the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The oath was administered by the Public Prosecutor, Dr. Ibrahim Abdulrahman Al-Sharqawi, marking the beginning of their professional careers and their assumption of duties as "Grade C Investigators."
The eighth cohort included 486 graduates, comprising 307 males, including 35 officers, and 179 females, including 4 female officers. Notably, this cohort witnessed, for the first time, the graduation of female police officers to work in the field of investigations, a step that enhances the participation of female cadres in this sector.
