Pakistani Foreign Minister: Mecca Agreement Is Not for Confrontation and Reflects a Collective Commitment to Peace

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, affirmed that the Mecca Agreement is not a tool for confrontation, but rather expresses a collective commitment to peace through strength, solidarity, and mutual respect.

Dar stated in a post on the “X” platform that the signing of the Mecca Agreement marks a milestone in the strategic relations linking Pakistan with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

He clarified that the agreement is of a defensive nature and not directed against any country, emphasizing that its objective is to enhance collective deterrence against any external aggression.
