Municipality: 6 violations and 8 warnings in the first round of 'License Your Activity' in the capital

- The campaign will extend to all governorates in the coming weeks

The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality announced that inspection teams under the Audit and Municipal Services Follow-up Administration in the Capital Governorate carried out their first rounds as part of the “License Your Activity… Take the Right Steps” campaign. The initiative aims to inspect businesses and their health licenses, as well as advertising permits, and to verify compliance with the regulations governing shops and advertisements, while taking enforcement actions against violators.

The department clarified that the inspection team conducted field inspections in several investment and commercial areas in the Capital Governorate to identify violations and verify permitted activities. The round resulted in issuing six violation notices and eight warnings related to the regulations on shops and advertisements.

It further noted that the campaign will continue with field inspections across all governorates in the coming weeks, according to a schedule prepared by the Public Relations Department in coordination with relevant administrations, which includes the timelines for implementing the inspection campaigns.
