Egyptian youth saves six people from drowning, then passes away in Alexandria
In a deeply moving human scene, an Egyptian youth’s attempt to save six people from drowning ended with their survival and his own death, after he intervened to help them when they were swept away from the shore in the Al-Bitash area of the Agamy district in Alexandria.
The incident began when the 18-year-old youth noticed several people struggling to return to the shore after waves had pushed them far out to sea.
The youth rushed to their aid, managed to rescue the six individuals, and brought them to safety, before he himself drowned.
