Launch of the Third Edition Under the Patronage of Al-Sumait at the Lawyers Association

Under the patronage of Minister of Justice and Advisor Nasser Al-Sumait, the third edition of the “Leadership Mentorship Program” has launched in collaboration with the Lawyers Association. The program aims to develop leadership skills and enhance professional capacities among Kuwaiti youth, preparing them for the future.

The program is implemented in accordance with Cabinet directives aimed at empowering Kuwaiti youth and qualifying them for leadership positions, while supporting human and creative capital in alignment with the developmental objectives of Kuwait’s Vision.

The launch of the third edition coincides with International Youth Day. The program includes a series of training courses and workshops designed to develop participants’ skills and strengthen their professional and leadership capabilities.

Program head Jamila Al-Attiyah stated that the program focuses on empowering mid-level leaders and recent graduates, preparing them for the job market. She emphasized that the concept of leadership should not be limited to job titles alone, but rather to building capacities through training, mentorship, and learning from success stories and experiences.

She noted that the third edition marks the first time that both young men and women participate together, whereas previous editions were limited to women. This step aims to broaden the program’s scope to encompass larger sectors and spaces, providing opportunities for everyone to develop their capabilities. She affirmed that, overall, the program seeks to invest in the human and creative capital of the State of Kuwait, and to qualify national cadres equipped with the necessary tools and skills to actively contribute to the nation’s development process.
