Hit-and-run in Farwaniya ends in death of Asian

A report on a hit-and-run incident in the Farwaniya area ended with the death of a 46-year-old Asian resident, while security authorities launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.

A security source said that the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report of a hit-and-run incident in the area, prompting security personnel and ambulance crews to rush to the scene. It was confirmed that the incident resulted in the resident’s death.

The source added that the body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department, a case was registered, and an investigation was opened into the circumstances and causes of the accident.
