Lawyer Ismail Dashti represented the defendant, insisting on the absence of the elements constituting the charges against his client and the insufficiency of evidence to convict him of the main charges, and requested his acquittal.
After reviewing the case and hearing the arguments, the court concluded that the defendant was not guilty of the charges of kidnapping and causing serious injuries, and fined him 350 dinars for the charge of assault, without imposing a custodial sentence, while referring the compensation aspect to the competent civil court.
