Qatar condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia's Najran region: blatant violation of sovereignty

Qatar condemned, on Friday, the Houthi group’s attacks on the Najran region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in injuries to several civilians, describing them as a blatant violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty, a flagrant breach of international law, and a serious escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized Qatar’s complete rejection of the targeting of civilians, civilian objects, and vital facilities, reaffirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to safeguard its territorial integrity, security, and stability.

The ministry expressed Qatar’s wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured, praying to God Almighty to protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people from all harm.
