412.6 Million Dinars in Salaries for Employees of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in 26/27

A report on the state’s general budget for the current fiscal year (2026/2027) revealed that total expenditure and expense appropriations for the Ministry of Islamic Affairs amounted to 476.464 million dinars, covering the seven budget chapters.

The report, reviewed by Al-Siyasa, clarified that the estimated amount for the “Employee Compensation” chapter reached 412.678 million dinars, representing salaries and cash or in-kind bonuses payable to employees across all departments in consideration of the work performed during the fiscal year.

The total approved amount for the “Goods and Services” chapter stood at 45.004 million dinars, covering expenditures incurred by the ministry to facilitate its ongoing operations in procuring necessary goods and services. The approved amount for the “Grants” chapter was 300,000 dinars, while the “Other Expenditures and Transfers” chapter recorded 3.732 million dinars, and 14.750 million dinars were allocated to the “Capital Expenditures” chapter.

On another note, the total approved budget for the General Secretariat of Awqaf reached 8.784 million dinars, including 7.537 million dinars for employee compensation, 1.159 million dinars for goods and services, 73,000 dinars for other expenditures and transfers, and 15,000 dinars for capital expenditures.
