A Brief Overview of the Importance of Advocacy
Oral arguments are among the most important legal procedures in the judiciary. They serve as the means through which parties present their statements, defenses, and evidence before the court, enabling the judge to understand all aspects of the case and reach a fair and just ruling.
Oral arguments contribute to protecting individual rights, upholding the principle of equality between the parties, and providing each side with the opportunity to defend itself in accordance with the law. They also aid in uncovering the truth by discussing facts and evidence in an organized and clear manner.
Procedural law constitutes the foundational pillar for achieving justice, as it ensures the integrity of judicial proceedings, enhances confidence in issued judgments, and safeguards the rights of all members of society.
