Minister of Health Exempts Gulf Diplomats and Diplomats from Nine Countries from Health Service Fees

Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, issued a ministerial decree exempting diplomats accredited to the State of Kuwait who hold diplomatic passports from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and nine other countries from health service fees and medication charges.

The decree covers diplomats from the GCC countries, as well as the Kingdom of Morocco, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Italian Republic, the Republic of Albania, the Republic of Cyprus, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Argentina, and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

This decision comes as part of the regulation of categories exempted from health service and medication fees, including diplomats accredited to the State of Kuwait from the countries covered by the decree, in accordance with the controls approved by the Ministry of Health.
