Syria: Casualties after bomb explosion in passenger bus

The Directorate of Referral, Ambulance, and Emergency Services at the Syrian Ministry of Health announced on Thursday evening that two people were killed and 13 others were injured in a bus explosion in the city of Jaramana, in the eastern suburbs of Damascus, according to official Syrian media.

The Al-Khabar Al-Souriya channel had reported on Thursday evening that a bomb exploded inside a passenger bus in Jaramana, located in the Rif Dimashq Governorate.

In a breaking news report, the channel stated that the explosion occurred inside the bus, resulting in several casualties, without providing an initial casualty count or additional details regarding the circumstances of the incident.

As of now, the Syrian Ministry of Interior or security authorities have not issued an official statement clarifying the nature of the explosion, the extent of the losses, or the responsible party.
