Traffic Department Arrests 18 Wanted Individuals and Offenders

The General Directorate of Traffic continued to carry out its security campaigns across the country’s various governorates, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance security and apprehend violators and wanted individuals.

Over a 24-hour period, the campaigns resulted in the arrest of 18 individuals, including wanted persons subject to arrest warrants and others who violated residency laws due to the expiration of their residency permits. They were referred to the relevant authorities to complete legal procedures against them.

A security source stated that traffic officers, in addition to their daily duties of regulating traffic flow, continued to conduct field operations that contributed to the apprehension of wanted individuals and violators, emphasizing that these campaigns are ongoing across all governorates.
