Civil Service Department Approves 70 National Trainers in Corporate Governance

-109 participants in the program... and completion of accreditation for the remaining cohort

The Diwan of Civil Service announced the accreditation of 70 national trainers from various government entities, as part of the National Corporate Governance Program, in a move aimed at building and qualifying specialized national cadres capable of disseminating corporate governance concepts and enhancing their implementation in the public sector.

In a press statement yesterday, the Diwan clarified that the trainers’ accreditation followed their successful completion of qualification and evaluation requirements in accordance with the approved accreditation standards, within the National Corporate Governance Program implemented by the Diwan.

It noted that the total number of participants in the program reached 109 trainees from various government entities, while procedures to complete accreditation requirements for the remaining participants are currently ongoing, in preparation for their accreditation upon fulfillment of all stipulated conditions and standards.

The Diwan emphasized that this achievement falls within its efforts to strengthen institutional capacities and prepare qualified national trainers to promote a culture of corporate governance, thereby contributing to the harmonization of concepts, the application of best practices, the enhancement of government performance efficiency, and the entrenchment of principles of transparency, accountability, and sustainability across various government entities.
