UK: Woman arrested for stabbing four men in London
British police announced today the arrest of a 47-year-old woman on suspicion of stabbing four men in the Covent Garden area of central London.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said the victims, aged between 34 and 52, were taken to hospital following the incident on Indel Street at 12:30 p.m. local time, without providing further details about the circumstances.
Earlier, the British government announced that knife crime had fallen by 11% under the Labour Party government, while knife-related murders had dropped by 26%, reaching their lowest level in 35 years. It added that more than 15,000 knives and offensive weapons had been seized from the streets since July 2025.
