Acceptance of the inevitable alleviates the burden of worries

What is inevitable is that which cannot be avoided, what is bound to occur, the predestined from which there is no escape, what is unavoidable, and what will happen necessarily, even if delayed. Surrender, in this context, means the voluntary acceptance of divine decree and contentment with it, after fulfilling the conditions for a meaningful life through the efforts one deserves.
Among the qualities expected of a rational person in today’s volatile world, surrendering to the inevitable serves to alleviate the intensity of worries and accompanying anxieties that one would face if continuing to flee from confronting realities and refusing to accept inevitable life circumstances. - “Worldly affairs are like states: what is destined for you will reach you despite your weakness, and what is against you you cannot repel despite your strength.” It is incumbent upon the rational person to repeatedly remind themselves that this worldly life is transient and does not remain in a single state. Whatever is destined for them according to divine decree and cosmic laws will reach them even if everyone in the world stands against them. Likewise, the inevitable life circumstances that may not please them will occur one day, despite everything. Even if a person hides in a tall tower, shielded from harm, those who internalize this conviction should naturally cease striving to control what they cannot logically control.
- Life plans and the margin of error: The rational person accepts the possibility that the outcomes of their life plans may differ from what actually unfolds in reality. They must acknowledge an expected margin of error in their thinking regarding priorities, goals, and what they believe they can achieve in their surrounding environment, even if they have meticulously designed and studied their life plans.
- Predicting the future and the nature of the surrounding environment: The process of forecasting the future becomes easier or more difficult depending on the nature of the environment in which a person finds themselves or places themselves. Although one may gather important information on the subject and read extensively about successful forecasting methods, the surrounding environment controls a significant portion of outcomes or consequences. Therefore, surrender to the inevitable, and your hands will be comforted; the burden of worries will lighten upon you.
