$1 million from Ali Abdulhadi Al-Mutawa to Emergency Response
The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced yesterday that Al-Ali Abdul Wahab Al-Mutawa Trading Company has contributed US$1 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, which was launched on July 5 last year, with the aim of enhancing national readiness and strengthening the State of Kuwait’s capacity to respond promptly to exceptional circumstances.
In a press statement, the Fund clarified that this initiative embodies the corporate and national social responsibility of Al-Ali Abdul Wahab Al-Mutawa Trading Company, reflecting its conviction in the importance of collective efforts to support national initiatives aimed at bolstering the country’s comprehensive preparedness and enabling relevant authorities to handle various emergency situations efficiently and effectively.
The Fund emphasized that the company’s contribution highlights the vital and responsible role of the Kuwaiti private sector in supporting government entities and providing the necessary resources for rapid crisis response, thereby strengthening the national response system and reinforcing values of solidarity and social cohesion. It is worth noting that the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund was established by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, following approval by the Council of Ministers, to oversee its management and operations, with the goal of enhancing institutional resilience, improving national response efficiency, and empowering relevant authorities to confront emergency challenges effectively and efficiently.
