Having successfully passed the middle of summer without significant obstacles or problems—despite the geopolitical situation in the region and the despicable, repeated attacks on some of its units—sources close to the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy confirmed that this success is attributable to numerous measures that the ministry has taken and implemented successfully, yielding positive results despite the challenges faced during the current summer.

The ministry places great emphasis on enhancing awareness of the importance of optimal energy and water use, based on its conviction that building a culture of conservation starts with the individual, and that raising awareness among new generations contributes to solidifying positive behaviors that reflect on preserving natural resources and enhancing consumption efficiency.

Meanwhile, the ministry intends to establish, supply, and install a water analysis laboratories building in Shuwaikh to strengthen the role of its Water Resources Development Center in monitoring drinking water quality from the beginning of production until it reaches consumers.

Sources revealed that last week, the ministry requested the Central Agency to launch a tender for the construction of the aforementioned laboratory, but the agency, in turn, requested certain modifications.
