Milton Keynes defeats 'Al-Abyad' in a friendly match

Al-Arabi to play friendly against Egyptian Pyramids... Kazma draws with Al-Waab

Kuwait lost its first friendly match during its training camp in the British capital, London, to English side Milton Keynes Dons by a single goal the day before yesterday.

Kuwait’s Portuguese coach, Alexandre Santos, was keen to field a large number of players to assess their readiness and physical fitness, while also testing several tactical setups during the friendly encounter.

The national team resumed its training sessions yesterday in London, with morning and evening sessions, ahead of its second friendly match next Wednesday against Portsmouth of the Premier League. It is scheduled to face Barnet, a Championship side, next Sunday.

The national team is preparing to begin its campaign to defend the Premier League title it has won in the last five seasons, which kicks off on August 25. Meanwhile, Al-Qadsiah is preparing to participate in the 2022 AFC Champions League.

Fourth Encounter

Al-Arabi and Egyptian club Pyramids have agreed to play a friendly match on Tuesday, as part of both teams’ training camps in Turkey.

This will be Al-Arabi’s fourth match in Turkey. Previously, they defeated Amkar Spor 4-0, drew with Van Spor 1-1, and lost to Erzurumspor 1-3.

The “Green” team’s camp will continue until the end of this week, after which they will depart for India to face Indian side East Bengal in Kolkata on August 12 in the AFC Champions League 2 playoff round. They will then return to Kuwait to prepare for the Zain Premier League.

On another note, the Asian Football Confederation has appointed a refereeing team from Tajikistan to officiate the match between Al-Arabi and East Bengal. The team consists of main referee Gulmurod Sadullo, assistants Hassan Karimov and Farhod Kuralov, and fourth official Nasrullo Kabilov.

First Friendly Match

Al-Salmiya will play its first friendly match of its Turkish training camp this evening against Egyptian club ZED FC.

The “Sky Blue” team has scheduled its friendly matches in Turkey, starting with a game against Qatari side Al-Markhiya on August 6. They will then face Algerian club Olympique de Médéa on August 10, and are seeking a fourth friendly match on August 14.

Positive Draw

Kazma drew 2-2 with Qatari side Al-Waab in its first friendly match of its Turkish training camp.

Kazma is scheduled to face Saudi club Al-Raed next Thursday, followed by a match against Bahraini side Al-Khalidiya on August 10. They will conclude their friendly schedule against Algerian club Olympique de Médéa on August 13.
