Kuwait welcomes agreement on implementation of comprehensive peace plan for Gaza

- The full withdrawal of occupation forces, the flow of aid, reconstruction, and the return of the Palestinian Authority

- The agreement must pave the way for a political process leading to an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s welcome of the announcement by the President of the friendly United States of America, Donald Trump, regarding the agreement on the implementation of the comprehensive peace plan in the Gaza Strip. It commended the efforts made by the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, the friendly Republic of Turkey, the friendly United States of America, the Peace Council, and all relevant parties to reach this agreement.

The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to supporting the full implementation of the comprehensive peace plan and its subsequent phases, in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, which includes the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid, supporting reconstruction efforts, and the return of the Palestinian Authority to the Strip.
