Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns attack targeting a building in Kuwait
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Friday, strongly condemned the attack that targeted a building in the sister state of Kuwait, deeming it a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability and territorial integrity, and a clear breach of the United Nations Charter and international law.
In a press statement, the ministry emphasized that this attack constitutes a serious escalation threatening security and stability in the region, a direct infringement on Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a threat to the security and stability of the Arabian Gulf.
It reaffirmed Palestine’s full solidarity with Kuwait, including its leadership, government, and people, and its support for Kuwait in confronting these attacks, as well as backing all legitimate measures taken to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to safeguard the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory.
Earlier, the official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced that the reprehensible Iranian aggression targeted a building belonging to one of the Chinese companies in northern Kuwait, resulting in the death of one worker and causing severe material damage to the building.
