Presidents of the UAE and Syria Discuss Regional Developments and Bilateral Relations in a Phone Call
The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held a telephone conversation on Friday with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa to discuss regional developments and issues of mutual interest, as well as fraternal relations and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the two sides reviewed recent developments in the Middle East region and the efforts made to consolidate security, stability, and peace in the area, exchanging views on these matters.
It added that both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continuing joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and elevate them to broader horizons, in line with the shared interests of the two countries.
