Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences Announces New Company Contributions to the 'Emergency Response'
The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced yesterday a contribution of $1.5 million from Al-Ahli Insurance Company to the “Kuwait Emergency Response Fund,” alongside a similar contribution from its subsidiary, the Kuwait Reinsurance Company, bringing the total of the two contributions to $3 million.
This initiative comes in support of national efforts aimed at enhancing preparedness and improving the efficiency of handling exceptional circumstances, thereby strengthening the country’s capacity to respond quickly and effectively to emergency challenges.
The Kuwait Fund emphasized that this contribution reflects the commitment of Al-Ahli Insurance Company and its subsidiary to their national and social responsibilities, and embodies the pivotal role of the private sector in supporting national initiatives and strengthening the framework of cooperation and solidarity.
The Fund noted that the company’s contribution highlights the vital and responsible role of the private sector in supporting state efforts and enhancing the country’s ability to respond rapidly to emergency conditions, while also reflecting a firm commitment to the values of solidarity and social cohesion. In a separate statement, the Fund also announced a $3 million contribution from Kuwait International Bank (KIB) to the “Kuwait Emergency Response Fund,” clarifying that KIB’s contribution stems from its sustainability strategy, its national and social responsibility, and its commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance national preparedness and reinforce integration between state institutions and the private sector, thereby strengthening the foundations of stability and ensuring the continuity of vital services under all circumstances.
