Alghanim Industries Donates $5 Million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced yesterday that Alghanim Industries has contributed $5 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, launched on July 5, with the aim of enhancing national preparedness and improving Kuwait’s capacity to respond promptly to exceptional circumstances.

The Fund clarified that this initiative embodies Alghanim Industries’ commitment to social and national responsibility, reflecting its belief in the importance of collective efforts to support national initiatives aimed at strengthening the country’s overall readiness.

The Fund emphasized that the company’s contribution highlights the vital and responsible role of Kuwait’s private sector in supporting government entities, providing the necessary resources for rapid crisis response, and reinforcing values of solidarity and social cohesion. Alghanim Industries is one of the largest private sector companies in the Arab Gulf region, operating in more than 40 countries worldwide through over 30 companies across diverse sectors including retail, distribution, food and beverages, automobiles, industry, and services, with a legacy spanning more than nine decades.
