Trump: We will strike Iran with force

US President Donald Trump vowed on Wednesday that Washington would respond forcefully to recent Iranian attacks targeting US forces in Jordan.

Trump told Fox News, “We will strike Iran with force… The United States will teach Iran a harsh lesson after the attack on US forces in Jordan.”

Trump described the Iranian attack, which occurred last night, as “surprising,” noting that “our forces had only minutes to shoot down the Iranian missiles,” while adding that “the attack on militias in Iraq was coordinated with the Iraqi government.”
