Qatar condemns attempts to target Saudi oil facilities with drones launched from Iraqi territory

Qatar strongly condemned attempts to target petroleum facilities in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using drones launched from Iraqi territory, describing such acts as a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, and a flagrant breach of international law, the UN Charter, and principles of good neighborliness.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed, in a statement, Qatar’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all lawful measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
