Al-Makhayyim Approves Dispatch Plan for Study Missions and Leaves for Electricity Department Staff

Dr. Subaih Al-Muzayim, Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, approved the dispatch plan for study missions and academic leaves for ministry employees, as part of efforts to develop national cadres and enhance their scientific and professional competencies, in accordance with the laws and regulations governing civil service and academic dispatch.

In a decision issued by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, the dispatch plan was approved and transmitted, specifying the required specializations and the number of seats allocated for each plan, to the Civil Service Bureau for its approval, within a period not exceeding one month from the date of receipt of the Bureau’s letter regarding the dispatch plans for missions and academic leaves.

The decision also mandated the Undersecretary of the Ministry to issue an internal circular announcing the opening of the application period for the dispatch plan within five working days from the date of receiving the Civil Service Bureau’s approval. This circular must include the general and specific conditions, approved specializations, application procedures, required documents, and the opening and closing dates for applications, and must be published on the Ministry’s official website.

The decision outlined the eligibility criteria and conditions for applying for study missions and academic leaves, as well as the mechanism for calculating merit-based selection among applicants, taking into account academic qualifications, overall grades, seniority, performance reports, and the relevance of the specialization to the Ministry’s needs. It also included criteria for evaluating approved universities and required specializations, with the aim of ensuring the selection of qualified personnel based on objective standards that meet operational requirements and support human resource development within the Ministry.
