'Trade': Rationing limited to citizens, their families, and domestic workers

- Discontinuation of rations for anyone proven to resell or transfer subsidized goods to others

The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Osama Al-Boudi, issued Ministerial Decision No. 154 of 2026 regarding the determination of categories eligible to receive subsidized goods.

The decision stipulated an amendment to Item (1) of Article 5 of Ministerial Decision No. (216) of 2014, restricting eligibility for subsidized goods to citizens, their families, and their domestic workers.

It also ordered the cancellation of all provisions that establish or regulate the distribution or use of subsidized goods for categories not specified in the decision.

The decision further stipulated the suspension of subsidized goods allocated to ration cardholders for anyone proven to resell or transfer them to others, with the violator referred to the competent authorities to take necessary legal action.
