Bahrain condemns attempted attack on Saudi oil facilities: a blatant violation of international law
- Affirmed its solidarity with the Kingdom in any response it deems appropriate against the sources of aggression
The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its strong condemnation and rejection today, Monday, of the attempted attack targeting petroleum facilities in the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by drones launched from Iraqi territory.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, considered this attack a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter, and a threat to regional security and stability, as well as to energy supplies.
The Ministry affirmed Bahrain’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its complete support for the measures it takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to defend its territory and vital civilian infrastructure.

It also emphasized Bahrain’s steadfast support for the Kingdom in any response it decides upon against the sources of this aggression, based on the shared destiny and the deep-rooted fraternal and historical ties that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
