Widespread Arab condemnations of the drone attack targeting Saudi oil facilities... and reaffirmation of full solidarity with the Kingdom

Condemnations from Arab states and organizations continued to pour in regarding the drone attacks that attempted to target petroleum facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These statements emphasized that such assaults constitute a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a threat to the security and stability of the region, reaffirming full solidarity with Riyadh and support for the measures it is taking to protect its territory and assets.

Egypt strongly condemned the drone attacks targeting the Kingdom, describing them as a violation of its security and stability and an escalation that could undermine regional peace.

In a statement issued on Monday, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Cairo’s full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for the measures taken to preserve its security and stability. It firmly rejected all acts targeting Saudi Arabia and other fraternal Arab countries, calling for an immediate halt to these attacks.

For his part, Jordan condemned the attacks that attempted to target petroleum facilities in the Eastern Province and the Riyadh region, launched from Iraqi territory.

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a declaration that these attacks represent a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and a gross breach of international law and the UN Charter.

It affirmed Jordan’s absolute solidarity with the Kingdom and its full support for all steps taken to protect its sovereignty, security, assets, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

For his part, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, expressed the Parliament’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks, asserting that these hostile acts constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s security and stability and pose a threat to regional security.

Al-Yamahi emphasized the Arab Parliament’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, affirming that its security is an integral part of Arab national security, and supporting all efforts and measures taken to protect its territory and assets.

Earlier on Monday, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of several drones coming from Iraqi territory, which had attempted to target petroleum facilities in the Eastern Province and the Riyadh region.
